AWS and Workday Expand Partnership to Enhance Generative AI Capabilities

Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Workday announced an expanded partnership on July 11, 2024, aimed at building generative artificial intelligence capabilities to enhance customer experiences and drive cloud transformation. Workday, a leading provider of solutions for managing workforce and financial assets, will leverage AWS technologies such as Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker JumpStart to develop AI features that streamline business processes. This collaboration will enable Workday to offer advanced functionalities, including the creation of job descriptions, contract analysis, and personalized employee talent highlights, significantly reducing the time and effort required for these tasks.

The partnership also includes joint investments in go-to-market initiatives and deeper integrations with AWS technologies. Workday will use AWS tools like AWS Lambda, Amazon EventBridge, and Amazon Textract to build custom applications, enhancing the developer experience and enabling secure, scalable finance and HR processes. The collaboration with the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center will allow Workday to experiment with new AI applications and ensure responsible AI use.
