Broadcom has introduced major advancements to its VeloCloud product portfolio, aiming to enhance AI and non-AI workloads for enterprises. Central to this upgrade is the launch of VeloRAIN, an AI-powered networking architecture that optimizes the performance and security of distributed workloads. This is complemented by the debut of high-performance VeloCloud Edge 4100 and 5100 appliances, designed to support demanding enterprise environments with throughput capabilities of up to 100 Gbps. The new appliances enable scalable, secure, and efficient deployment of edge AI applications and streamline network architecture by reducing device needs. Broadcom also unveiled "Titan," a revamped partner program for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), offering exclusive technology access, rewards, and business growth opportunities.
These innovations, supported by findings in Broadcom's “State of the Edge” report, address the rising demand for AI-driven edge solutions. The report highlights connectivity issues as a key driver of edge adoption, with enterprises seeking to improve bandwidth and latency for critical applications. Enhanced by AI/ML technologies, VeloRAIN enables smarter application prioritization, advanced traffic optimization, and dynamic policy frameworks for seamless user experiences. With these advancements, Broadcom positions its VeloCloud portfolio as a cornerstone for enterprises embracing AI-driven transformation and distributed workloads at scale.
