Adobe Names Lara Balazs as Chief Marketing Officer

Adobe has appointed Lara Balazs as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Executive Vice President of Global Marketing, reporting directly to CEO Shantanu Narayen. Balazs, a highly regarded marketing leader with extensive experience across B2C and B2B industries, will lead Adobe’s Global Marketing Organization. She will be overseeing the company’s brand, campaigns, communications, social media, Adobe.com, and marketing insights. Her deep expertise as a former Adobe customer is expected to enhance the company’s engagement with its growing user base and strengthen Adobe's brand presence worldwide. Adobe, known for its leadership in content creation and digital marketing innovations, views Balazs’ appointment as a step toward expanding its global influence.

Balazs brings a distinguished career to Adobe, having previously served as CMO and General Manager at Intuit, where she achieved record-breaking growth and elevated the company’s brand reputation. Her leadership experience includes senior roles at Amazon, Visa, and Nike, where she spearheaded transformative initiatives such as the global expansion of Amazon Prime and the launch of Visa’s mobile-first products. Balazs holds degrees from the University of Washington and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
