Structure, a 3D Intelligence provider, has signed a 3D software licensing agreement with HP to provide AI-powered 3D scanning application development services. Through this partnership, HP will offer the Structure Software Development Kit (SDK) to its 3D printing clients, supporting the development of new scanning applications. This collaboration aligns with HP’s strategy to expand its 3D printing ecosystem by integrating advanced scanning technology. Structure SDK has enabled the creation of more than 300 applications and continues to provide developers with tools for building innovative 3D scanning solutions.
Founded in 2022 as a spin-off from Occipital, Structure specializes in 3D scanning and machine learning, with a focus on healthcare applications. The company also offers the Structure 3 scanner and the Structure Capture iOS app for mobile 3D scanning. HP, a major technology company operating in more than 170 countries, provides products and services across computing, printing, and 3D printing. The partnership aims to enhance the capabilities of HP’s clients while promoting advancements in 3D scanning and printing.
