The race to adopt Artificial Intelligence may still have a “gold rush” feel to it, but there are companies helping to steer their clients through the wilderness. Actian, a division of HCL Software, is one of them, and has signed a new deal to expand its footprint in Europe.
Actian has teamed with Arrow Electronics, a global technology solutions provider, to distribute the full portfolio of Actian data management and intelligence solutions in the United Kingdom and Europe. The move comes more than six months after Actian completed its purchase of Zeenea, a data intelligence platform, to expand its metadata management, data catalog and governance capabilities.
It’s not just new technology that Actian is leveraging; its new leadership as well, as the company promoted Emma McGrattan to Chief Technology Officer in February specifically to help integrate Zeenea’s data management capabilities.
