QAD, a provider of cloud-based manufacturing and supply chain solutions, has appointed Sanjay Brahmawar as its new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Anton Chilton, who will step down after more than two decades of service. Brahmawar, previously CEO of Software AG, brings a track record of driving business transformation, strengthening customer-focused operations, and advancing product strategies through mergers and acquisitions. Before his time at Software AG, he held Senior Leadership positions at IBM, Managing Global Revenue for Watson IoT, and gained experience at PwC, FedEx, DSM, and Honda.
Brahmawar’s mission at QAD is to focus on growth through product innovation and customer success. Charles Goodman, Chairman of the QAD Board and Thoma Bravo Operating Partner, expressed confidence in Brahmawar and said, “Sanjay joins QAD at a pivotal time in its journey. His expertise in innovation and his strong sense of customer needs make him the perfect choice to lead us forward.” Brahmawar said, “I’m incredibly excited to lead QAD into this next phase of growth and success. I want our customers to know I value their trust and am 100% committed to their success. And I want our people to know that we’re going to work hard together to build a QAD that plays to win.”
