LILT, an AI-powered translation and content generation company, is making significant strides across multiple fronts. The company recently appointed Werner Koepf as Chief Product and Technology Officer, bringing over 25 years of experience from Amazon, Expedia, and Ticketmaster. At LILT, he will focus on expanding the company’s AI architecture and platform capabilities, reporting directly to CEO Spence Green.
The company also secured a multi-million dollar contract with the U.S. Department of Defense’s Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) in December. The contract will integrate LILT’s AI language tools across multiple military services, enhancing the speed and efficiency of intelligence processing. The deal follows LILT’s prior work with the Defense Innovation Unit, where it demonstrated a 10x efficiency improvement in language translation for intelligence applications.
LILT is also continuing to enhance its AI platform, rolling out new features during its latest AI Day showcase. Recent updates include Bring-Your-Own (BYO) Model, allowing businesses to integrate and manage multiple AI models within LILT’s platform, and AI Video Dubbing, which enables instant captioning, translation, and dubbing in a single step. The company has also expanded data labeling capabilities, helping businesses improve AI model training for multilingual applications.
