Nasuni Names Sam King as New Chief Executive Officer to Enhance Growth

Nasuni, a data platform for hybrid cloud environments, has appointed Sam King as its new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Paul Flanagan, who is retiring after eight years in the role. As part of the planned transition, Flanagan will continue to serve as Non-Executive Chairman on Nasuni’s Board of Directors. Under his leadership, Nasuni experienced significant growth in revenue, customer base, and employee count, while expanding its product offerings through key acquisitions and platform innovations. King brings nearly two decades of experience from Veracode, where she served as CEO from 2019 to 2024. Her background spans executive leadership roles in product strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate growth initiatives.

In her new role, King aims to strengthen Nasuni’s position as a unified file data platform for enterprises managing large volumes of unstructured data. The company’s hybrid cloud solution offers storage and data services that enhance operational efficiency and reduce infrastructure costs. Nasuni’s platform also streamlines data management by eliminating the need for separate cybersecurity or backup systems. As organizations face growing demands related to AI integration, cloud migration, and remote work, King emphasized Nasuni’s capacity to meet these challenges through secure and seamless collaboration. She expressed her enthusiasm and stated, “Together, we will advance Nasuni’s platform to anticipate market requirements, cementing our leadership position while empowering customers to unlock unprecedented value from their data assets.”
