Advanced Technology International (ATI), a Summerville, SC-based nonprofit that manages R&D collaborations for the U.S. government, has announced that John Jansen has stepped down as Chief Executive Officer. The Board of Directors expressed gratitude for his service, with Chair Chris Van Metre stating, “We appreciate John’s service and dedication to ATI and wish him well in his future endeavors.”
The Board has appointed Julia Martin as Interim CEO. Martin, who has served as ATI’s Chief Financial Officer for more than two decades, will lead the organization while a search for a permanent CEO is underway. Van Metre added, “ATI remains focused on its core business of collaboration management and I am confident that Julia is the right leader to navigate this transition and continue to drive ATI’s success.” ATI continues its mission to accelerate government access to new technologies by bringing together industry, academic, and government stakeholders in collaborative R&D programs.
