ActiveCampaign has appointed Chai Atreya as Chief Product Officer to lead its product strategy and drive the development of AI-powered marketing automation. Atreya will oversee the company’s efforts to scale intelligent, cross-channel campaign tools during a period of fast growth. His appointment follows the recent launch of Active Intelligence, the platform’s new AI engine aimed at helping marketers convert business goals into effective strategies across email, SMS, and WhatsApp. Jason VandeBoom, Founder and CEO of ActiveCampaign, stated, “Chai’s deep expertise in AI, analytics, and SaaS, along with his track record of building customer-centric products that scale, will be instrumental in shaping the future of our platform and helping our customers stay ahead in a rapidly changing market.”
Atreya brings more than 20 years of experience in technology and product leadership, including senior roles at Alteryx, Teradata, Amazon, and Adobe. At Alteryx, he led over 350 team members and was responsible for expanding its AI-driven analytics platform. Atreya earned an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School, a master's degree in computer science from Columbia University, and a bachelor's degree in computer science from VTU.
