Appian Appoints Mark Dorsey as Chief Revenue Officer to Lead Global Sales Strategy

Mark Dorsey has been appointed Chief Revenue Officer of Appian. Dorsey, who has over 25 years of experience leading sales teams at well-known software businesses, will be in charge of Appian's worldwide sales operations and will answer directly to CEO Matt Calkins. His responsibilities will include driving growth through direct sales and partnerships, aiming to expand Appian's market reach. Dorsey joins Appian from Alteryx and previously held senior executive roles at Oracle and IBM, where he played key roles in scaling cloud solutions. At Oracle, he served as SVP of Enterprise Cloud Sales, launching Oracle’s cloud business and guiding the transition from on-premise to cloud-based sales strategies, particularly for top-tier North American accounts.
