IDEMIA Public Security, a leader in secure biometric-based solutions, has named Vincent Bouatou as its new Chief Technology Officer and Head of the International CTO Office. Bouatou will oversee the company's technology and cybersecurity strategy, innovation, and AI leadership while advancing its technical governance. IDEMIA specializes in biometric technologies, offering solutions for government, law enforcement, travel, and the public sector. The company has achieved top rankings in the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) evaluations for its fingerprint, facial recognition, and biometric algorithms.
Bouatou brings over two decades of experience in technology leadership, having previously served in IDEMIA’s Research and Technology Unit, Global R&D, and Public Security & Identity divisions. His contributions have solidified IDEMIA's position as a leader in biometric innovation. Before joining IDEMIA, Bouatou worked at Microsoft, where he fostered partnerships with academia and promoted entrepreneurship in the technology sector.
