NCR Voyix Corporation, a digital commerce solutions provider, announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Executive Chair James G. Kelly as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Kelly succeeds David Wilkinson, who is stepping down from his role as President, CEO, and Board member. In addition, Lead Independent Director Kevin Reddy has been named the company’s Non-Executive Chair. Reddy stated that Kelly’s experience in technology and payments, along with his leadership at EVO Payments and Global Payments, makes him well-suited to lead NCR Voyix into its next phase of growth. He also acknowledged Wilkinson’s contributions, highlighting his role in strengthening the company following the spin-off of its ATM-related businesses in 2023.
Kelly, who has been a Director since October 2023, expressed his commitment to working with the company’s management, employees, and customers to drive growth as a product-led software and services company. Mr. Wilkinson further said, “It has been a great joy to see the company grow and adapt to the many shifts in the point-of-sale market over the last 12 years. The company has an outstanding global team who has worked tirelessly over many years to meet the critical needs of our customers. I have been very fortunate to have led them through this critical phase of separating into two businesses. I believe the company is moving in the right direction to achieve its growth objective.”
