Nicole Rogas hasn’t been with RevSpring long, but she’s already making an impact. The President of the Nashville, Tennessee-based end-to-end payments platform recently attended HIMSS in Las Vegas to be the face of the company she joined two months prior at the industry’s biggest event.
During the conference, Rogas took center stage, announcing RevSpring’s AI-powered virtual health assistant called SeatMate. The assistant is designed to support customer service representatives and enhance patient interactions with intelligent scripting. "By combining AI, data-driven insights, and personalized engagement, we empower patients to understand their financial obligations better, simplify billing and payments, and easily access financial assistance,” she said.
Prior to joining RevSpring in January, Rogas, who worked at Experian for 19 years, culminating in a stint as Chief Commercial Officer, was the President of healthcare operations company symplr. But when the chance to join RevSpring emerged, Rogas jumped. Calling it “nothing short of serendipitous and unexpected,” she said she was happy to be working with people she admires and trusts. “I am back in a field I’m incredibly passionate about,” she added, “RCM and Patient Engagement with an emphasis on creating a seamless patient payment journey.”
The company—which was sold by private equity firm GTCR to healthcare-focused investment firm Frazier Healthcare Partners almost exactly a year ago—has been active since her arrival. Most recently, the company announced an expanded partnership with Availity, the nation’s largest payer, provider, and partner network. This allows Availity customers to gain streamlined access to a full-service solution designed to drive increased payments, faster and more efficient patient payments and processing, and ultimately, a higher return on investment.
Three months in, Rogas is already driving momentum. A year from now, we can likely expect more great things. And the year after that. And after that. That’s why she’s here, after all.
