Sirva has announced the promotion of Joe Genautis to the dual role of Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer, following the retirement of John Kirk after a decade with the company. In this expanded role, Genautis will lead Sirva’s global technology operations, including IT security, infrastructure, application development, and desktop support across its relocation and moving services. His responsibilities will focus on advancing artificial intelligence integration throughout Sirva’s platforms and enhancing cybersecurity measures to protect client, employee, and company data. This move aligns with Sirva’s strategic goals centered on speed, innovation, operational efficiency, and customer service.
Since joining Sirva in 2016, Genautis has directed its technology vision with a strong emphasis on digital enablement and analytics. He previously served as Chief Information Officer at Torstar Corporation, where he managed technology strategies and cybersecurity programs. Genautis holds a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Economics and Computer Science from the University of Toronto. Under his leadership, Sirva aims to strengthen its use of intelligent technologies to support a more responsive and customer-focused business model. The company continues to offer relocation and moving services in over 190 countries through its portfolio of well-established brands, catering to both corporate and individual clients.
