Starburst, a data platform for apps and AI, can’t stop outdoing itself. The Boston-based company closed Fiscal Year 2025 on a high note, growing net new customers by 20 percent and customer growth for its flagship product, Starburst Galaxy, by 76 percent.
The company also achieved record global sales, including significant growth in North America and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, all of which gives their new Chief Marketing Officer ample material with which to work. Appointed in January, marketing veteran Lisa Luscap took on the role after serving as CMO at Pluralsight. She was instrumental in leading marketing efforts at Snowflake, where she helped take the Data Cloud company public in September 2020.
Now, Luscap will work for a company whose customers include 10 of the top 15 global banks and which, in FY 2025, signed an eight-figure deal with a global financial institution, the largest in Starburst’s history.
