Panopto, an AI-powered video learning platform, has appointed Stephen Laster as Chief Executive Officer, marking a strategic move to strengthen its role in the video learning tech industry. Laster brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in education and enterprise software, having previously served as President at D2L. His background also includes senior roles at McGraw-Hill Education, Ellucian, Harvard Business School, and Babson College, where he contributed to the development of scalable digital learning platforms. At Panopto, he will lead efforts to expand the company’s reach and further integrate AI into video-based learning, training, and communication solutions.
