Title: President and CEO
Steve McMillan is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Teradata. Teradata is a global data and analytics company best known for its flagship platform, Vantage, which enables large enterprises to manage and analyze data across multi-cloud and on-premises environments. Vantage supports advanced analytics, including machine learning and AI, and integrates with open-source tools. With more than two decades of technology experience, McMillan is a seasoned executive with a track record of transforming enterprise services and product businesses into industry-leading cloud portfolio offerings. To each new position, he brings a focus on driving value for customers and delivering customer satisfaction.
Prior to joining Teradata, McMillan served as the executive vice president of global services for F5 Networks. Prior to that, he was with Oracle, where he served as the senior vice president of customer success and managed cloud services. He also had an extended career at IBM, where he held increasingly senior leadership positions, driving operations and execution with a consistent record of exceeding revenue and profit targets, business transformation, and collaborative leadership. McMillan holds a bachelor's degree in management and computer science from Aston University in Birmingham, England.

Mike Capone is the CEO of Qlik. Qlik provides data integration, analytics, and AI/ML tools used by over 40,000 organizations worldwide. Its platform supports scalable machine learning, intuitive visualizations, and robust data governance, helping teams analyze diverse data sources and surface patterns that inform decision-making.
Capone has guided Qlik through 14 acquisitions and significant R&D investments, ultimately establishing the platform as an accessible and scalable solution that is firmly aligned with businesses’ objectives. Before joining Qlik, he was the COO at Medidata Solutions, where he guided the company’s strategy in providing a comprehensive cloud platform that leverages data and analytics to transform clinical trials in the healthcare, life sciences, and pharma markets. He also held multiple senior positions at ADP, where he was responsible for delivering essential services to over 600,000 companies and 39 million employees worldwide.
In addition to his work at Qlik, Capone serves on the board of Dynatrace, a leader in the unified security and observability space, and is Chairman of the Board of Greenphire, a company specializing in clinical trial payments. Capone graduated from Pace University with an MBA in finance and from Dickinson College with a bachelor’s degree in computer science.

George Fraser is the CEO of Fivetran, having first joined the company in 2012. Fivetran, a global leader in data movement, helps customers use their data to power everything from AI applications and ML models to predictive analytics and operational workloads. The Fivetran platform reliably and securely centralizes data from hundreds of SaaS applications and databases into any cloud destination, whether deployed on-premises, in the cloud, or in a hybrid environment. Previously, Fraser was a scientist at Emerald Therapeutics. He earned a PhD in neurobiology from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor’s degree in cognitive science from Carnegie Mellon University.

Thayne has also served as chief information officer at Interbank FX, has managed virtually all engineering resources for WordPerfect, and has overseen teams at Open Market, Corel, and Novell. Thayne holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and an MBA from Brigham Young University.

Cindi Howson is the Chief Data Strategy Officer of ThoughtSpot. ThoughtSpot empowers every user to explore and generate insights from business data through its intuitive natural language search. The platform combines unified analytics capabilities with Spotter, an AI analyst that delivers precise, transparent, and personalized insights, ensuring decisions are both data-driven and actionable. Howson is a business analytics and BI thought leader and expert that bridges business needs with technology. In her role, she advises top clients on data strategy and best practices to become a data-driven business and influences ThoughtSpot’s product strategy.
Howson was previously a Gartner research Vice President and was the lead author for the data and analytics maturity model and analytics and BI Magic Quadrant. She introduced new research in data and AI for good, NLP/BI Search, and augmented analytics and brought both the BI bake offs and innovation panels to Gartner globally. She also served as a faculty member at The Data Warehousing Institute for more than 10 years, and held leadership positions at Deloitte & Touche and Dow Chemical. She holds an MBA from Rice University and a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Maryland.

He has also held product and program leadership positions at Essence, Super Happy Games, The Workshop, and McAfee. McCance earned a post-graduate diploma in business administration and management from the University of Warwick and studied at the University of Leicester.

Siebel graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree, an MBA, and a master’s degree.

Katz brings over 30 years of experience to his current role. Before joining Sisense, Katz was a general manager at Microsoft, where he played a key role in establishing and building Power BI, one of the world’s leading cloud BI services. He also led the development of Dynamics 365 for Sales, and helped turn it into a smart and modern cloud service. He was also previously VP of R&D and general manager at Astea International. Earlier in his career, he worked with Intel as a development team leader. Katz graduated from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in computer science.

He and his team launched Matillion’s flagship ETL product in 2014, which has driven the company’s growth ever since. Thompson graduated from the University of Salford with a degree in computer science.

There, he led the effort to augment the Teradata database with machine learning and graph analytics capabilities, culminating in the release of Vantage, the most widely adopted Teradata version to date. Prior to that, Cusack was a lead scientist in the UK Ministry of Defence, developing parallel and distributed simulation frameworks to support training and operations. Cusack holds a bachelor’s degree in physics, a master’s degree in computing, and a PhD in computational physics from Newcastle University.

Kohl first got his start in 2000 as the the founder and CEO of Backside, an internet monetization platform. He also went on to found pdway and then Newton, an educational platform that promotes scientific thinking and cognitive development through advanced, tech-driven learning tools. Kohl holds a bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, and business management from Bar-Ilan University and an MBA in international business management from the New York University Stern School of Business.

Previously, Verma was co-CEO at MemSQL and, before that, chief revenue officer at Apttus. Earlier in his career, he worked with Wipro as a senior marketing executive. Verma earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Bangalore University.

Kim Stroh is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Persefoni. Previously, Stroh was a manager at Chesapeake Energy and, before that, a technical consultant at Rana Consulting LLC. Madalina Tanasie is the Chief Technology Officer of Collibra. Evan Cummack is the Chief Product Officer of Aerospike, a real-time database platform engineered for infinite scale, ultra-low latency, and high throughput, delivering both speed and cost efficiency. A former general manager at Twilio, Cummack founded and grew the company’s Solutions Architecture organization before kicking off the company's first Web and Mobile SDK initiatives and eventually co-founding a standalone business unit targeting hardware device developers. After Twilio, Cummack was CEO of Fin.com, an analytics startup. Cummack currently serves on the investment committee of Zenda Capital, a seed fund, and is an active advisor to venture-funded startups. Cummack studied at the Victoria University of Wellington.

He went on to hold several engineering leadership positions at various business and consumer-facing startups, focusing on large-scale distributed systems and security, and was on the founding team at Appature. Most recently, he was the senior director of engineering at IMS Health.

Prior to joining Sigma, Palmer served as the CPO at Druva where he defined a lower cost revenue acquisition model, increased net retention, and reimagined processes and technology by replacing antiquated on-premise solutions with emerging cloud technologies and services. Palmer earned a bachelor’s degree in developmental biology and Spanish literature from the University of Rochester.

Gopalakrishna graduated from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka with a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics.

Previously, Garud was a senior software development engineer at Tellme Networks and, before that, a principal software architect at Nominum Inc. Earlier in his career, he worked with Geometric Software as a software engineer. Garud earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
