Profile
Moveworks, founded in 2016 with a focus on IT transformation, began with the mission of addressing the lengthy resolution times for IT issues, which often spanned three days. Upon deeper analysis, the team identified that many enterprise problems stemmed from a lack of nuanced language understanding. Language serves as the foundation for all workplace interactions and is the universal medium through which tasks are accomplished. This linguistic data holds immense value if the right insights can be extracted, yet traditional automation methods have historically struggled to unlock its potential.
To address this challenge, Moveworks applied advanced natural language understanding and large language models to automate the resolution of repetitive and mundane IT issues. As customers began to experience the benefits of this approach, it became evident that the problem extended beyond IT. Nearly every department faced similar challenges with repetitive employee support needs.
Today, Moveworks operates across multiple domains to address employee issues at scale. Whether the challenges arise in IT, HR, finance, sales, legal, facilities, or other areas, Moveworks connects people and systems through a centralized platform.
Key Products
Moveworks Copilot
Powered by an agentic reasoning engine, the Moveworks’ independant Copilot allows employees to get help, find information, and take action across any enterprise application — directly from platforms they already use, like Microsoft Teams and Slack. Brief Me
Brief Me enables employees to quickly extract key information from documents using natural language — significantly enhancing employee productivity and the speed of decision-making. Employees can upload and interact with multiple files at once, allowing them to easily extract insights without ever having to leave the platforms they already use.

Corporate Responsibility
Moveworks believes fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and belonging is the key to both employee and organizational success. “Movesters,” as employees are called, are the company’s most valuable asset, bringing a wide range of diverse backgrounds and viewpoints to the innovations that drive business.
25% of Moveworks’ leadership team is made up of individuals from underrepresented backgrounds. And, with Moveworks’ newest Chief People Officer, AnnMarie Zimmerman, on board, Moveworks is more committed than ever to further diversifying its leadership bench and creating a more equitable workplace across the board. AnnMarie came to Moveworks from Palo Alto Networks and brings over a decade of experience as an accomplished general manager, HR, business, and leadership development professional for companies ranging in size — from startups to Fortune 500 companies.
Since joining Moveworks in January of this year, AnnMarie and her team have made major strides to boost employee morale to impact the company’s bottom line. In addition to regularly reporting DEI metrics to the board and leadership team — which in Q4 showed 41% of new hires were women — she immediately initiated a fair pay audit across the company to correct any pay issues or gaps. Her passion for ensuring Movesters across a diverse set of backgrounds feel supported in their professional development is palpable across the company, and in 2H24, the PeopleOps team will conduct mandatory DEI training that will become an integral part of annual employee training moving forward.
Moveworks’ ongoing commitment to improving its practices and policies — from recruitment to compensation and benefits policies — is vital to fostering a culture of inclusion and ultimately driving business and innovations forward as the company prepares to announce new developments in 2H24.
