Tomas Gogar, Co-Founder and CEO

Tomas Gogar is the CEO and Co-Founder of Rossum, a cloud-native Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solution. A Czech Republic native, Tomas grew up in a small town outside of Prague, achieving his Bachelor’s degree in software engineering and Master’s in Artificial Intelligence (AI) from Czech Technical University. He pursued his first start-up shortly afterward and founded Rossum in 2017. Once named to Forbes’ 30 under 30 list, Tomas’ knowledge of the AI technology market is extensive and he has a particular interest in sharing his point of view on the importance of using advanced technology, like AI, to solve practical company problems that are often the root of inefficiencies in the workforce.

Petr Baudis, Co-Founder CTO

Petr Baudis is a Co-Founder and CTO of Rossum, a SaaS deep tech startup with over $100M Series A venture funding that focuses on automating business-to-business transactional document processing using state-of-art AI technology. He serves on the board of the company and oversees its R&D and product development. In the past, Petr led multiple AI research and deep learning projects in academia as well as in commercial environments. His work was used by companies like Google DeepMind, Novartis, and Seznam.cz.  Petr’s past exploits also include working with Linus Torvalds as one of the founding developers of the Git tool and leading many other open-source projects.
