Piotr Ciski, CEO
A visionary leader with nearly three decades of experience in IT, business strategy and business transformation.
As the CEO of Symfonia, Piotr Ciski has overseen the company’s growth since 2015.
Under his leadership, Symfonia has flourished, emerging as a dynamic force in Poland’s IT landscape and an innovator committed to empowering Polish SMEs through technology.
In 2021, Piotr masterminded Symfonia’s carve-out from Sage, securing private equity investment from MidEuropa to establish the company as an independent entity on the Polish market. His strategic foresight continued to shine in 2023, when he brought on board Accel-KKR, a Silicon Valley-based investor – a milestone that helped Symfonia’s expand beyond Polish market. By 2024, Symfonia had achieved its first international acquisition, marking a new chapter in its rapid expansion.
Piotr’s nearly 30 years of experience has equipped him with unparalleled expertise in business strategy, innovation, and digital transformation. Before Symfonia, he held executive roles at Cybercom and Computaris Group, where he spearheaded growth and operational excellence across multiple markets.
A graduate of Computer Science and Econometrics at the University of Łódź, with an Executive MBA from the Warsaw University of Technology, Piotr is an active advocate for digital education and a member of the Digital Poland Foundation Council. Beyond his professional achievements, he is an ultramarathon runner and a passionate mountain trail enthusiast, embodying resilience and determination in every facet of his life.
Robert Chmielewski, CFO
Specializes in finance and building company value through organic growth and acquisitions. He has extensive experience as a CFO in B2B and B2C service sectors, including roles at private equity portfolio companies (Innova Capital, Cornerstone, Highlander Partners).
Before joining Symfonia, he served as the CFO of the Polskie ePłatności Group, where he supported rapid growth through market consolidation, among other strategies. This approach led to a significant increase in the scale and value of the PEP Group and its eventual sale to a leading European fintech player in what was recognized as the Private Equity Deal of the Year (PSIK). Previously, he was Group CFO at ProService Finteco (a BPO leader for the financial sector), PayU (a leader in online payments), and Wincanton (logistics sector). He began his career at Jeronimo Martins (owner of the Biedronka retail chain). Privately, he is passionate about travel and road cycling.
Robert Zyskowski, CTO
A Senior Leader with 30 years of experience in software development and digital technology, specializing in product value delivery management, program and project management, people management, agile/lean coaching, and enhancing IT system security and continuity.
Robert holds a Master of Science in Electronics from the Gdańsk University of Technology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance and Accounting from the University of Gdańsk. He is certified in Scrum Master, PMI/PMP®, ITIL®, PRINCE2® Practitioner, and Business Continuity Management (BCM).
Before joining the Symfonia Group, Robert served as Senior Development Manager at Amazon Web Services for over five years. Previously, he worked at Intel for more than 11 years, where he developed software for microprocessors designed for machine learning applications. With 20 years of software engineering management experience, he has honed both people management skills and deep technical expertise.
At Symfonia, Robert focuses on further developing cloud-based products, modernizing existing solutions, and leveraging his experience to support the R&D team.
Privately, he is a yoga practitioner, sailor, and an enthusiast of green energy, recycling, electric vehicles, and home automation.
Edyta Malesza-Malatrat, CMO
An expert in defining target markets, designing go-to-market (GTM) plans, and developing marketing strategies. She has over 20 years of marketing experience in B2C and B2B markets, with an impressive track record of achievements in the IT and FMCG industries.
Before joining Symfonia, she worked with renowned brands such as Procter & Gamble, SAP, and Cisco. Her roles included Director of Marketing Transformation for the EMEA region and Marketing Director for Central and Eastern Europe at SAP. Earlier at Cisco, she was responsible for demand generation and interactive marketing across the EMEA region.
At Symfonia, Edyta is responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy for the Group’s companies in Poland and Romania. Since 2024, she has also served as a Board Member for Marketing and PR at the Digital Poland Foundation, which focuses on promoting digital transformation.
Małgorzata Ściślak, Sales Director
An expert in developing and implementing business strategies in the IT sector. Since 2011, she has been associated with Symfonia. Initially, as a Product Manager, she was responsible for the portfolio and commercialization of local products. Starting in 2016, she led the marketing and communications department and currently heads the sales and marketing team. As part of the Symfonia Group’s business development, she oversees the creation and implementation of strategies, including restructuring the sales department and channels.
She is also a board member of the Symfonia Foundation. Before joining Symfonia, she managed the mobile product business at Tech Data.
She actively supports local communities and volunteers with various associations. She finds inspiration in art and the mountains.
Aneta Jarczyńska, Product Marketing and Commercialization Director
An expert in product commercialization and marketing, as well as in developing and implementing product strategies. She has successfully introduced numerous new services and products from Symfonia’s portfolio to the Polish market, including the miedzyfirmami.pl platform, the e-Audytor service (recipient of the Innovation of the Year 2016 award), and the first e-invoice standard on the Polish market.
She co-created and led key commercial projects at Symfonia, such as launching the subscription offering and a new product portfolio. She is responsible for creating business plans and implementing major sales initiatives within the organization, while also expanding the cloud product portfolio.
For over 15 years, she has been associated with Symfonia. Over the past six years, she served as a Product Marketing Manager and Coordinator of the Product Marketing Managers team. Currently, she holds the position of Director of Product Marketing and Commercialization.
She graduated in International Relations from Collegium Civitas and completed postgraduate studies in IT Project Management at the Warsaw School of Economics. Her personal passion is gardening.
Sebastian Gosk, Services & Client Support Director
With 20 years of experience in the IT industry, he has extensive expertise in project management and customer service. In the past, he managed projects related to IT infrastructure. Since 2008, he has been with Symfonia. For nine years, as the manager of one of the regional teams, he was responsible for sales and implementation projects for key clients.
Since 2017, he has overseen the entire professional services area at Symfonia, which currently includes teams for pre-sales technical support, professional services, and customer technical support.
He is a graduate of the Higher School of Management and Banking in Poznań and is currently pursuing further development through an Executive MBA program at the Poznań University of Economics.
A passionate enthusiast of new technologies, he views exploring them as an integral part of his ongoing professional and personal growth.
Wiktoria Kuc, HR Director
For over a decade, she has managed HR projects, supporting companies in the IT, Fin-Tech, and FMCG sectors. Before joining Symfonia, she worked for technology companies such as Tech Data (now TD Synnex) and First Data Corporation (now Fiserv). She was responsible for human resources management in organizations undergoing structural, cultural, and ownership changes.
She holds postgraduate degrees in Labor Law from the University of Warsaw, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) from the Warsaw University of Technology, and Negotiation and Mediation from the SWPS University. Additionally, she graduated in Sociology from the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) and Business Psychology from Kozminski University. She is also a Certified Business Trainer.
In her free time, she enjoys individual sports and chess.
Hubert Paczkowski, Indirect Sales Director
Director of Indirect Sales
Responsible for indirect sales conducted through business partners. He specializes in business dialogue, strategy development, and building effective sales teams.
Before joining Symfonia in 2014, he worked in the IT industry, overseeing sales in both the commercial and public sectors. He also contributed to building a partner network at the German company G Data Software. He is pursuing an Executive MBA at the Poznań University of Economics and has participated in numerous managerial training programs. He is also involved in supporting start-ups.
Privately, he is passionate about real estate investment and enjoys recreational activities such as snowboarding in winter and downhill biking with an enduro bike in summer.
Bartłomiej Stopa, Technology Development Director
With 12 years of experience in commercial IT projects, he has extensive experience not only in management but also in technical roles. He has followed a complete career path, from programmer to tech leader to architect.
He is a certified expert in Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft Azure, with certifications as an Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Azure Developer Associate.
Before joining Symfonia, he worked at EY as a .NET Cloud Architect | Manager, where he was responsible for developing software for clients worldwide. One of his most important projects involved developing a system for large enterprises to automatically process invoices using AI algorithms.
He graduated from the Faculty of Technical Physics, Computer Science, and Applied Mathematics at the Łódź University of Technology.
A passionate enthusiast of all mechanical vehicles, he has been riding dirt bikes since his teenage years and has also been into road motorcycles for the past ten years.
Janusz Majde, Software Engineering Director
Associated with Symfonia since 1998, initially as a software developer and team leader of the HR and payroll team, later as a project manager and director of the product delivery team. A fan of linear work techniques and agile team management. He has led numerous projects related to the consolidation of HR and payroll products, as well as initiatives aimed at improving work efficiency (including the transformation from waterfall methodology to agile/scrum).
He is a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology. An active enthusiast of mountain hiking in the summer and downhill skiing in the winter. A fan of cycling trips and nature expeditions with a camera in hand.
Wioletta Kałoska, General Counsel, Commerial Proxy
Specializes in IP/IT law. For many years, she has been advising businesses in Poland and German-speaking countries. Previously, she was associated with IT companies such as MicroStrategy and Sage. At Symfonia, she supports sales, customer support services, and marketing teams, and is also responsible for corporate governance.
She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, the German Law School at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, and holds a postgraduate degree in Modern Technology Law from Kozminski University. She also holds a certificate in German law basics issued by the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. She is a member of the District Bar Council in Warsaw and serves on the board of the Symfonia Foundation.
She is interested in new technologies. In her spare time, she plays squash and is a fan of Novak Djokovic.

At Symfonia, we are deeply committed to making a positive impact on society and the environment. In 2023, we established the Symfonia Foundation with several key objectives:
- Promoting entrepreneurship and professional skills development for women, particularly in the fields of finance and IT. We also focus on enhancing mathematical, digital, and technical education, as well as leadership competencies among young girls.
- Raising climate awareness and protecting the environment, including promoting the digital transformation of businesses, document digitization, and reducing carbon footprints.
- Supporting corporate social responsibility initiatives, such as employee volunteer programs and grassroots employee-driven initiatives.
The Symfonia Foundation supports many grassroots initiatives driven by our employees and also collaborates with external foundations. For several years, the Foundation has been supporting the St. Nicholas Foundation by providing software for efficient document and financial management.
Additionally, Symfonia works closely with the Empowering Children Foundation.
In 2023, the Symfonia Foundation partnered with the IT Girls Foundation to organize workshops for high school girls who were looking to take their first steps in the IT industry. In 2024, together with the same foundation, we launched a mentoring program where Symfonia employees served as mentors for young women seeking to re-enter the workforce after maternity leave, shift careers, or start their journey in IT. The program received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both mentors and mentees.
As part of our commitment to social impact, Symfonia offers every employee an additional five days of paid leave for volunteer work.
As Symfonia we also participated in the “Sprawny Staż”(eng. efficient internship) program, organized by Ergo Hestia and the Integralia Foundation, which provides paid internships for students and graduates with disabilities from across Poland. Several participants in this program have gone on to secure permanent positions at Symfonia.
Moreover, we are proud to note that half of our management team is female, demonstrating our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) in leadership roles.
