Tungsten Automation, a global provider of AI-driven document and workflow automation solutions, announced the promotion of Peter Hantman to Chief Executive Officer and his appointment to the Board of Directors. Hantman, who joined the company in November 2023 as President and COO, succeeds Reynolds C. Bish, who will transition to the role of Executive Chairman of the Board. He commented, “I’m honored to become Chief Executive Officer at such an important time in our customer’s transformation to GenAI enabled document and workflow automation.” He will now lead the executive management team and continue advancing the company’s transition to a SaaS recurring revenue model.
With more than 30 years of experience in enterprise software, Hantman previously held leadership roles at e2open, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Bish expressed full confidence in Hantman, stating, “I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished during the last 17 years, and I have total confidence in Pete’s leadership going forward.” Alongside this leadership change, Tungsten appointed Robert Watson as Chief Financial Officer. Watson, most recently interim CFO at Athenahealth, brings decades of financial leadership across global technology firms.
