Workday has established the Workday AI Advisory Board, comprising leading academics, to advance research on AI's impact on work, workforce readiness, and responsible AI. The board will provide insights to help businesses, policymakers, and society navigate technological shifts in the workplace. Athena Karp, General Manager of HiredScore at Workday, stressed the collaboration's value in leading businesses towards innovation while guaranteeing ethical AI development. The advisory board aims to shape industry discussions and influence the future of AI-driven workforce management.
The founding members include Toby Stuart (Chair) from UC Berkeley, Hamsa Sridhar Bastani from the University of Pennsylvania, Danielle Li and Sendhil Mullainathan from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Duncan Watts from the University of Pennsylvania. Stuart highlighted the significance of addressing AI-related challenges and opportunities in collaboration with Workday and its customers.
